Pohang Gwamegi festival
The Gwamegi (Half dried saury) Festival is open during the winter season for the publicity and sale of Gwamegi in Guryongpo, Pohang. It is a special local special treat in winter. During the festival, a variety of events, including tasting and selling of Gwamegi, are held.- Place : Guryongpo Gwamegi Cultural Street Ara Plaza Special Stage (in front of the post office)
- Period : November 11, 2017 (Sat) ~ 12 (Sun)
- Program : Publicity, tasting, and selling of Gwamegi, Cuttlefish, and snow crab. Invitational performances by entertainers and Gakseoli(singing beggars)
Jukjang Goroswe Festival
- Place : Seopo Middle School • Gyeongbuk Nursing High School (Former, Jukjang High School)
- Period : March 11, 2017 (Sat) 10:00 ~ 17:00 (1 day)
- Program : Street parade, perfomance for ground hardening, and play with A-frame carriers and biers. Singing contest, and various traditional plays (making a straw rope, lifting the ridge of a roof, and beating rice cakes with a mallet) Free drinks, native foods market place, and selling of Gorosoi tree sap / special products
Jang-gi Elementary School Playground
